World Uni Champs

World University Championship (WUC) events are held every two years in an alternate sequence to the Universiade's under the banner of the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The are currently 34 WUC sports in the FISU calendar which are staged in various cities throughout the world.

Australian University Sport selects teams to represent Australia in World University Championship events in consultation with the relevant National Sporting Organisations (NSOs). The Australian team will compete in a number of championships but not necessarily all of them.

To find out more about the championships on offer, visit the FISU World University Championship webpage.

We are currently finalising the 2018 World University Championships that Australia will compete in and selection policies for these teams.
